I don't like peppermint, but I loved the puffed up peppermint balls, that look like peppermint pattys only puffy and chewy...if that makes sense, I really don't know the actual name. Any who, they worked really well for me. Good Luck!!!

Try taking vitamin B. If that doesn't work, take it with 1/2 a Unisom. It will make you sleepy, but if you take it before bed, it will help a little in the morning. You have to build a tolerance to it, but it totally helped me. My doctor told me that if 1/2 a Unisom didn't help, I could take a whole one, but the 1/2 worked great! Also, supposedly, the queasy feeling comes from a lack of protein. If you can snack on protein-rich foods throughout the day... it's supposed to help. String cheese, nuts, 1/2 a peanut butter sandwich, cottage cheese... etc. Those are the things that helped me.

Oh, I can sympathize and empathize here. . . SO SORRY! I could never beat the queasy feeling no matter what I did, let alone the nausea. Sucking on a lemon throughout the day sometimes kept me from throwing up. I've never taken Unisom but that seems to work for my sister-in-law Nikki. The only thing I seemed to keep down was Cheerios in the evening. . .am I being much help here? Probably not. I feel pretty hopeless in this area. I usually just have to swallow the facts about how my body handles 1st trimester. There may be some remedies that work for you. . . peppermint might. I'm so sorry you feel crummy. I'll pray for you. . . ALOT! Hang in there!
Love ya!

When I had that happen it ended up to be problems with my gall bladder. It is such a terrible feeling!! I made ginger tea. You slice up some ginger roots let them seep in hot water then add some honey. It's not too bad. Hope you feel better soon!!

Wait, did I miss something???? Is this queasiness here for the next 9 months or so????
If so, I can totally sympathsize. It is like being continually carsick and it is rotten.
The cheese and protient helped. Go get Smart Water. That has the protien in it and it really helped. Plus I ate a whole lotta almonds.
Ginger root is another good one. You can buy ginger pills, but they didn't really do much. I liked the Preggie Pops. They are kinda spendy, but have flavors like lemon, peppermint and ginger. They seemed to help.
If you are "in the motherhood way" then CONGRATS!!!!
If you aren't, then I hope you feel better really soon.
(plus, I was definately the sickest with Lucy so maybe pink is headed your way.)

Oh Renee, I am so sorry your sick, but maybe it is a good sign that pink is coming?! Sounds like everyone else has told you everything that I would tell you so just try them and see what works for you. My 1st trimester with MaKelle was very miserable. Good Luck!
