New Year's Eve Sledding

So, my sister and her family came up on Tuesday evening to celebrate New Year's with us. We had a blast! We fed the kids Tuesday night, then shooed them downstairs to a movie Mike & Anne Marie, and Brandon & I had a takeout picnic from Cafe Rio. It was a lot of fun.

I love that our kids get along so well! It was so funny to hear some of the things they would do. Like my niece Rachel, and B decided to form a "club." The other kids formed the other "club." Each club had to find a hiding place, and the other club had to find them. Rachel and B's first club hideout was in the tub! I was in the bathroom doing my hair, so I got to hear them "arrange" their club. They put a blanket down in the bottom of the tub, and then arranged all of their "weapons" (markers, light sabers, and a marshmallow popper) in the bar on the wall. It was so funny to listen to them!

On Wednesday morning, we went out to Hyde Park to do some sledding. B hates the cold and snow and getting all bundled up (although, he's currently in shorts, going out in the "rain" (the icicles melting), and stepping in the snow. So, he stayed in the van with Anne Marie and her baby while the rest of us went sledding.

Huh? What? Where is everybody?
